My name is Raven Lynne Conces, and I am a certified Firearms Instructor with a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice, concentrated in Criminal Behavior, from Wilmington University. I also proudly served as a 911 dispatcher.
My goal is simple:
To take everything I’ve learned, through training, education, and real-world experience, and weave it into compelling, emotionally driven romantic tactical suspense novels.
Through my stories, I aim to share not only thrilling fiction, but also life-saving lessons layered naturally into every page.
My debut novel, What Really Happened, has been published under my First and Middle name. This is just the beginning. I also published Rising Crime Book 1 of my Rising Calls Series under my First and Last name.
Why the name change? Well it’s to help set expectations. If you see a book by Raven Lynne, it’s going to have a heavier detail on the level of romance. If it says Raven Conces, it will be commercially clean, not necessarily religiously clean. I did this after my boss, coworkers, former teacher, and other family members found out I was writing and wanted to read my book… so I decided I better get them something that won’t make me blush the next time I see them, lol.
But the Rising Calls series will have no profanity and no spice. There will still be romance, because what’s a book written by a hopeless romantic, without a love story.
Several more works of each are already in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
